The following points are CRITICAL in preventing ProSteel from crashing and corrupting drawing files:

ALWAYS USE THESE BUTTONS

FOR 'OK', 'CLOSE' OR 'CANCEL'

• NEVER use "cut and paste" or "CTRL+C" and "CTRL+V" to paste ProSteel objects from one drawing to another or
to insert ProSteel objects into a drawing.

NOTE:
ProSteel uses a database to track objects by their 'handles' and the modifications that are made to each
ProSteel object. Therefore each ProSteel object MUST be added or created in the drawing using ProSteel
commands and NOT "cut-and-pasting" otherwise the ProSteel database will have no record of those
objects and the drawing file will crash and become corrupted.

• ALWAYS use the ProSteel "copy" and "mirror" commands for these functions and NOT the normal AutoCAD
"copy" and "mirror" commands at the command line.

• DO NOT use "Boolean" functions such as addition and subtracting of Boolean solids as the resulting objects
created will increase CAD files to extremely large sizes and they will become unusable. In some cases the files are
too large and memory run-out errors will occur and files will crash.
