GROUP
• NAME : ENEITHA KARANGAL

• OBJECTIVE : “To destroy poverty”

TOTAL NO. OF
• MEMBERS : 350 members.
Which contain 29 groups and each group has
12 members.
Each group has one head and sub head.
 
• The group has 29 sub groups namely emiam, sun, rainbow, kathiravan,
etc.
• Once in a four weak meeting will be arranged
and discusses about the ongoing process and
future works.

• It will be a two way communication.

• The records will be maintained separately and

will be submitted to the government.
SOURCES OF FUNDS FOR
“ENEITHA KARANGAL”
• Funds are generated by three main forces like
women self aid group (government), banks,
and internal sources.
• Government will offer maximum of 60,000 per
group and allowed to return only Rs 50,000.
• In banks they can easily get loans but interest
rate is high. So, they will go only during
emergency condition.
 INTERNAL SOURSES
• And the last one is they will collect Rs 100 from each
member in a group.
• So they get Rs 1200 (since 12 members) like this they will
collect for two months. As a result of Rs 2400 is saved in
this Rs 500 was distributed among the members.
• Rs 1900 is deposited in the bank this will continued for
five years
• At last the will get Rs 10000 as the total amount this
amount may be used as resource or they outsource for
interest rate of 2%.
 SELF AID BUSINESS

Their self aid businesses are

• Vegetable vendors
• Textile
• Embroidering
• Creche

• All 350 members will buy vegetables, saris only in

this shop as the result they earn profit.
• Still now they didn’t face any loss.
 ACHIEVEMENT

• No poverty in their family.

• Buying power increases
Examples like TV, washing machine, AC, etc.
• Self confidence level increases
• Illiteracy level is vanished.
• Helps non government staffs.
• Easily get loan for their family.
• New friends and family.
 BUSINESS PLAN

OBJECTIVE:
To manufacture candles with best quality
and at minimum cost.
 
 WHY CANDLE?

• Easy to manufacture
• Availability of raw materials
• More profit when compare to other small scale
business.
• PROFIT = TWICE THE MANUFACTURING COST
• It is a non durable goods
• It has more demand in foreign countries
• The demand is huge during seasonal time ( i.e
Christmas)

TOTAL COST = FIXED COST + VARIABLE COST
= 1000+45
= 1045
• One day we can make 150 candles with 10
dies.
• Manufacturing cost of one candle is Rs 1
• Selling price = RS 2 / candle
• Profit = 150 / day
• we can achieve the pay back period of fixed
cost in 8 days.
• After 8 days the manufacturing cost is 60 paisa
• Profit = 210 per day by making 150 candles.

 CONCLUSION

• From this project we learnt how self aid

group’s people is trying to employ themselves
and giving employment to others.
• We also learnt what are all the easy way to get
money to start a business.
