Which contain 29 groups and each group has
12 members.
Each group has one head and sub head.
• The group has 29 sub groups namely emiam, sun, rainbow, kathiravan,
etc.
• Once in a four weak meeting will be arranged
and discusses about the ongoing process and
future works.
OBJECTIVE:
To manufacture candles with best quality
and at minimum cost.
WHY CANDLE?
• Easy to manufacture
• Availability of raw materials
• More profit when compare to other small scale
business.
• PROFIT = TWICE THE MANUFACTURING COST
• It is a non durable goods
• It has more demand in foreign countries
• The demand is huge during seasonal time ( i.e
Christmas)

VARIABLE COST
• Raw materials
– > WAX - 25 / Kg
– > THREAD - 20 For 100 M
TOTAL COST = FIXED COST + VARIABLE COST
= 1000+45
= 1045
• One day we can make 150 candles with 10
dies.
• Manufacturing cost of one candle is Rs 1
• Selling price = RS 2 / candle
• Profit = 150 / day
• we can achieve the pay back period of fixed
cost in 8 days.
• After 8 days the manufacturing cost is 60 paisa
• Profit = 210 per day by making 150 candles.
