Psalm 139:4
For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it
altogether.
__________________________________________________________
The heart of God is all-knowing. Even when nobody else is watching, God is watching. Even
when we believe that the consequences of our actions will be known only to ourselves, our
Creator sees our actions, and He responds accordingly. Ours is a God who, in His own time and
in his own way, rewards righteousness and punishes sin. It’s as simple as that.

Nothing that we say or do escapes the watchful eye of our Lord. God understands that we are not
perfect, and He understands that we will inevitably make mistakes, but He wants us to live
according to His rules, not our own. And when we don’t, He does not protect us from the natural
consequences of our mistakes.

The next time that you’re tempted to say something that you shouldn’t say or do something that
you shouldn’t do, remember that you can’t keep secrets from the all-knowing heart of God. So
don’t even try.

Lord, You are the source of all wisdom, and You are my Teacher. I will study Your Word, and I
will seek Your will. Today, I will stand upon the truth that You reveal, and I will share Your
wisdom with my family, with my friends, and with the world.
