BIG FIGHT NDTV:

WILL LANGUAGE UNITE US OR DIVIDE US

NDTV broadcasts the show BIG FIGHT anchored by Vickram Chandra involving big
mouths arguing for and against the topic.This show is broadcasted every Saturday at 8 p.m.

This week the people in the fray involved six big personalities Mr.Neeraj Shekar
(Samajwadi Party M.P),Mr. Akilesh Chowdry (V.P,MNS) Mr.Rajendra
Yadav(writer),Mr.Kancha Allaya(Professor),Mr.Sanjay Nirupam(M.P Cong) and
Ms.Kanimozhi(M.P dmk),speaking for and against the topic will language unite us or divide
us.s

Right from the beginning of the show there was repeated verbal attack on akilesh
chowdry about his party and its so called legal activities and it took for the anchor to settle
out the issue and put them on the topic.

There was many contradictory views and a notable one was that of sanjay nirupam
where he pointed kanimozhi and said “in India except tamil nadu all other states know atleast
to read hindi ,this is due to the rulings party’s false propaganda of linguistic patriotism”
kanimozhi was taken a back on this comment and she was left in search of words which was
even visible by her body language.

Mr.kancha allaya in a lighter vein said that despite having different culture ,language
atleast we have the feeling of indian’s while watching a 3 hr cricket game.This was accepted
by the audience with a loud applause.

Mr.Akilesh Chowdry further made a strong remark that maharastra is for the maratis
which all the other members in the fray went on a rough verbal argument and it again needed
the intervention of the anchor to sort things out.

Mr.Yadav said that there the separation of states based on the language itself is a flaw
commited by the greats of old times,he further added saying that states shouldn’t have been
divided on linguistic basis he also pointed out certain instances where some states in the past
asked for self governance that too during times of war and that has an additional problem.

CONCLUSION: india is like a cricket game we need a person from baroda cricket academy
as well as from T.N camp so each and everyone is important let us put back this linguistic
barrier behind and surge forward in the progess of the nation.let her flay sway freely and her
