POSITION: TV Broadcast Operator (part time)

DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: WRAZ-TV – Operations

DESCRIPTION: This is a part time position, approximately 30 hours per week. Person
needed to perform duties in the area of Master Control switching, dubbing, receiving satellite
feeds and maintaining the programming library. Must have computer automation experience and
be able to read digital/analog vector scopes; understand transmitter power, satellite
transmission/receiver operations. Individual must have good written and verbal communication
skills and have the ability to maintain proper control of video and audio signals. Previous
television broadcast experience and quick decision-making ability is required. Individual must
be able to obtain an FCC restricted operator permit. A college degree or equivalent related
experience at a commercial television station with emphasis in the areas of master control,
quality control, and production preferred. A pre-employment drug screening is required. All
