Smith National Historic Site. Be sure to go in the restored courtroom of the famed “Hanging Judge” Isaac C. Parker, and the nasty basement jail appropriately called “Hell on the Border.” Fort Smith Museum of History The museum has numerous exhibits that tell the story of the town’s colorful history. These exhibits span for the first fort in 1817 through modern day. Fort Chaffee Barbershop Museum Be sure to stop by the Fort Chaffee Barbershop Museum where G.I.'s, including Elvis Presley, received their famous "buzz" cuts. While there check out the Enchanted Dolland Vietnam Veterans Museum complete the district.
