private universities in
Bangladesh.
 Introduction
Sincethe enactment of the Private Universities Act of
1992,Bangladesh experienced a tremendous growth in
private educational platforms.

Rapid expansion entails a risk of compromise on quality

as well expenses.

Thus, combined effect is a vibrant education sector with

healthy rivalry and benefit to the society.
 95% universities are located in Dhaka.
 The number has reached to 55 universities from 17 in
2000.

Yet unhealthy-
 While comparing with per capita income.
 While comparing in terms of quality assurance and
expenses.
 Few Objectives set are-

 Opportunity for development in engineering &

medical science.
 Scope for new private universities.
 Assess the opinions of guardians, students & teachers
regarding quality, cost.
 Get an overview from private university management
regarding their further growth.
 Scope
 The growth of private universities in Bangladesh is
phenomenal.
 The quality of education and related facilities are full
of controversy.
 The high tuition fee is a common point of criticism.
 Research methodology

 Problem formulation- Pilot study study &

literature review will be conducted.

 Research design- Survey research method &

secondary data study.
 Sample design- Random sampling of 500
students from 10 universities, 5 colleges, 50
guardian, 50 faculty members & 20 from university
authority.

 Data collection-
Primary data through survey.
Secondary data from sources as articles,
journals, university annual report, foreign
embassy.
 Data process & analysis- Statistical tools will
be used to process data.
Scale & scaling will be used to measure
abstract concept.
Sophisticated analyzing tools will be used.

 Report writing- Popular Report System.
