Smart Switch QoS

web management SMC Networks has over 30 years experience in designing
interface and manufacturing network equipment. SMC’s Smart
Switches support all Ethernet speeds: 10 Mbps. 100 Mbps
or 1 Gbps over standard Cat 5 UTP copper cabling using
RJ45 connectors. They can be used with standard
Ethernet patch cables or cross-over cables; the Auto-
MDIX support simply determines what cable is
connected and it does the necessary. This means they
can be used with existing cabling systems without the

SMC Smart Switches

The SMCGS16-Smart EZ Switch™ 10/100/1000 is a 16
port Smart Switch designed for small to medium sized
businesses. It is ideal for companies moving from Fast
Ethernet to Gigabit Ethernet as the auto-sensing ports
can support all Ethernet speeds using patch or cross-
over cables.

The SMCGS24-Smart EZ Switch™ 10/100/1000 is a 24

port Smart Switch designed for small to medium sized
businesses. Like the smaller version, it provides plug-
and-play Ethernet capabilities with a web based
management interface to set up those smart features
required for handling today’s traffic mix including voice
and video.
