Jack Johnson’s ‘In Between Dreams’ is

in a digipak format. Though only four

panels, all of the relevant information is
present; track list, CD, artist
information, lyrics, special information
about the artist. As you can see, this
particular digipak states that it is a
‘special edition’ which will make fans
want to buy it. ‘Winner BRIT awards’
also demonstrates that the artist is
extremely credible which encourages
people who are not yet fans to buy the
album.

The digipak follows a very simple

sandy-yellow and charcoal black colour
scheme with natural objects such as
plants and trees. These represent the
artists beliefs as he is somebody who
sometimes writes lyrics about nature.
The guitar also follows the same colour
scheme while demonstrating the
artist’s ability to play the instrument. It
is on this same panel that the lyrics go;
there is an allotted slot for them which
makes the digipak tidy and organised.
