Greetings!

We, the basketball players of Central Pico, La Trinidad, who have been constantly joining
Interbarangay and other Youth Sports festivals and competing in major titles of the same, including
championships, believes in the healthy goals of competition and sportsmanship that is brought by the
sport and its goals towards the development of social relationship in our community.

Our team, which is composed of fifteen young players, is hoping to join an upcoming
basketball event in La Trinidad: The Fivers – Mcbels Basketball Cup 2010. This Basketball Cup,
which will start on Nov. 22, 2010, is geared towards the development of camaraderie among the
basketball teams of La Trinidad, Benguet and seeks to promote positive activities in the community.

However, as much as we wanted to participate in the event, we are faced with financing
difficulties. It is very unfortunate that we have failed to generate funds for our uniforms and
registration fee which are needed to qualify for this sports event. Luckily, we have heard of your
overwhelming support for these kinds of activities. Thus, we humbly ask for any amount that
you can share to assist our team and these efforts to promote the development of the youth’s
well-being through sports.

We will forever appreciate your kindness and rest assured that we will return it in any
way we can as members of our community.
