KOSHY (Chosen Brother) Camp : Coimbatore Tamil Nadu 7th January 2010 To The Bro-in-charge & Responsible Brethren All Assemblies in our fellowship Sub : Evangelization and Church My dear loving co-workers in the Lord, Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jes Christ, who has commanded us t0 go to the uttermost part of the world and make disciples. We praise God for enabling us to continue as a fellowship as taught by our dear loving Bro, Bakht Singh. May our good Lord enable us to continue pressing on in the vision our Lord has shown to our dear Bro. Bakht Singh. “The Lord has enabled the ministry to grow not only in India, but also in many parts of the world. pro, Bakht Singh had a deep burden especially for the unreached North India. In 1980s he shared this burden with the chosen brethrea and said that we should soars the base to a strategic location in North India. He also added that we are already late by 20 years. Again in early 1980s one of the Chosen Brothers our dear late Bro. Amiritraj reminded others about establishing a centre in Northern part of India. in the year 1989 while I was in the Holy convocation in Kalimpong, The Lord very clearly put a heavy burden on me and gave Te 8 phrase “Love North, Go North” have been sharing this burden in Hebron and other places where the Ta has taken me for ministry in the subsequent yea. Over the years many Lotjvated youth from Hebron, Hyderabad made several trips to different parts of North India and preached the gospel in different cities of North India. We praise God also for the faithful few who have been serving the Lord in different parts of North India. OB Recently ("to 11" of Dee, 2009) few brothers caught up with the VISION for the North arranged a “North India God’s Servants and Evangelization meeting” at Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh. Approximately 50 delegates from 11 North and South Indian states spent 3 days in prayer and deliberations; the details of which are as follows. ‘After much prayer and thought on the matter, 1 am prompted by the Lord to prayerfully suggest the following, for all of us to do in order to achieve this aim of reaching North India with the gospel of Christ. Prayer: «Pray specifically for North India - for evangelization and church planting in your regular church prayers, God’s Servants prayer, fasting and prayers etc.(Mat.8:36,37) « Pray Indian ministry by forming Local / Regional prayer Cells who will pray specifically for the North Indian ministry. © Send out a regular prayer bulletin to all churches interested believers/ groups about the North Indian ministry. Promote: + Present the statistics and create awareness about the unreached people North of India during our youth camps, convocations and other special meetings. Encourage our (young) God’s servants to go to North India as missionaries, to start work, where there is no work. © Make announcements about developments in North Indian ministry. Encourage our believers to go to North India and take up jobs there with the primary motivation of reaching North India (Tent Makers). © Encourage our youth to go to North India for higher studies (as Missionary students) and eventually to take up jobs in North India. Encourage our believers to make trips to North India to see the field for themselves; the millions who have not even heard our Saviour’s name and pray for them right on their soil. Participate Fellowship in sharing and pray for the needs of the existing churches of North India and help them as led by the Lord. © Set apart some portion your local church income (after prayer and discussion with the local church) for developing the work in North India (For eg. to support a new work in a new place. Neh. 8:10). I suggest that you consider spending at least 10% of the Church income in the coming years for the unreached North India. «Adopt a Church/ Place: After much prayer choose a particular place in North India and concentrate your prayer, send people and support that work in every possible way. Networking if any believer goes to North India contact the nearest church and encourage them to visit that church, share God’s word, and report back to the home church about the work, challenges and opportunities. + Establishing training centers in different strategic locations of North India to train people who have burden for unreached people in a North Indian context and guiding them.
