Details: On Saturday, 13 November 2010, from 1030 to 1500 hours, three demonstrations/
marches will take place in downtown Stuttgart, Germany, all of which are linked together.

The first demonstration, starting at 1030 hours and sponsored by the Deutsche
Gewerkschaftsbund (DGB [German Trade Union Alliance]), will start at the intersection of
Lautenschlagerstrasse and Arnulf-Klett-Platz, in the immediate vicinity of the Hauptbahnhof
(Main Train Station), in downtown Stuttgart, and march to the Schlossplatz, where a rally with
speeches will be held from 1130 till 1330 hours. The theme of the demonstration is ³Gerecht
geht anders´ (Fairness works diffently) and the purpose of the demonstration is to protest
government cuts in social benefits. Approximately 30,000 people are expected to participate.

The second demonstration, also starting at 1030 hours and sponsored by the Ver.di (Vereinigte
Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (United Services Trade Union) Jugend (Youth) will begin at the
Gewerkschaftshaus (Trade Union Building) located at Willi-Bleicher-Strasse 81, in downtown
Stuttgart and march to the Schlossplatz to join with the DGB rally there under the same theme.
Approximately 500 - 700 people are expected to participate.
The third demonstration will be sponsored by the DGB and the Ver.di Jugend immediately after
the end of the first and second demonstrations. They will march together from the Schlossplatz to
the Schlossgarten (Palace Park). The purpose of this demonstration is to protest ³Stuttgart 21´,
the construction of the new Stuttgart Train Main Station. Approximately 5,000 ± 10,000 people
are expected to participate.
