Scalar Quantity

> magnitude only

Vector Quantity > magnitude + direction

Speed  > distance travelled

                         time

Velocity  >  displacement

                             time

Acceleration > change of velocity     a =  v   -   u

                                time taken                           t

                            FORMULA...!!!!

(i) v  =   u   +   at

vase umar tambah air terjun

(ii) s   =  ut +   1/2  at^2

     s =  ut       +          1/2         a            t        ^2

seluar Uti terkoyak setengah akibat terjatuh 2x

(iii)  v^2   =   u^2   + 2 as

               v^2      =         u^2          +       2      a     s

vitamin-vitamin sama ubat-ubat tambah dua anak saya

(iv) s = 1/2 (u +v) t

        s     =       1/2     (  u            +         v)         t

selera sama setengah ulam tambah vitamin tenaga

Inertia > tendency of an object to maintain its state of rest, or if moving, to continue its motion in a straight

line

- example ada 10 buku ats meja....kita nk amik buku yg dok di tgh2...nk cepat & malas nk susun satu2....so, kita tarik je

  buku yg di tgh2 tu cepat2...laju2....insyaallah..buku jatuh straight ke bawah....konfem x jatuh ats kaki....

(i) Elastic collision > two colliding objects stick together after colliding.....m1u1+ m2u2 = m1v1+m2v2

    -dua hati jd satu lpas tlanggar kat koop td...hehehe

(ii)Inelastic collision  > two colliding objects seperate after colliding.......m1u1 + m2u2 = (m1+m2)v

      - dua hati yg lain pula...lpas tlanggar dua2 je...terus gaduh....mmg x boleh jmpa.............

(iii) Explosion > two sticks objects seperate after an explode m1v1 = m2v2
      - ni kes lain...dua bestfriend...gaduh besar rebut voucer pizza......last2..dari sama2 jd meluat gila.....

Momentum  =  mass x velocity

Newton's Second Law > rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied force

and takes place in the direction in which the force acts.....

Force propotional to final momentum - initial momentum

                                                           time

Frictional Foce > force that opposes motion

(i) Impulsive Force > the rate of change of momentum in a collision or explosion

                        F  =      mv   -    mu

                                            t

(ii ) Impuls > the change of momentum

                          Impulse = mv-mu

                                       = Ft

Force of gravity > force that acts on an object in a gravitational field, 1 kg = 9.8N

Weight > the force of gravity that acts on it

                      weight = mg

Resultant force > the net force that acts on an object when two or more forces act on it

Equilibrium > the object is at rest or is moving with a constant velocity in a straight line

                      > example...gajah yg malas nk bergerak dok tidoq saja....gajah tu berada dlm keadaan equilibrium la...

                      > x pun.....tok aji bawak kereta 20 km sejam kat jalan lurus.........dari pukul 1 sampai pukul 2.. dok laju tu

Work = product of applied force

           = force x distance
