Dear Parents,

• This Friday NIST will be celebrating Loy Krathong. As

part of this celebration, all Year 1 students will have the
opportunity to make a krathong on Friday afternoon.

• We need many hands to help us do this - so if you are

available Friday afternoon from 1.10 – 2.30pm please
come to your child’s classroom and help the children
make their krathongs.

• If we have time we will also float the krathongs in the EY

pool before the children go home. The children will also
bring their krathong home with them Friday after
school.

• Any students who would like to wear Thai national dress

for this celebration can bring it to school and change
into their Thai clothes after lunch.

• As you are aware, we are also going on our fieldtrips that day so the children
must be in their school uniform for their fieldtrip.
