Poem
I see
The waves of the salty water, the children splash,
His golden brown eyes
I smell
The scent of grilled chicken, hot dogs
Through the wind
I hear
Our child’s laughter, his happiness, the joy and
His father’s angelic voice
I feel
Our hearts beating together as he holds me,
Our body heat, the water surrounding us
I taste
His salty lips against mine
I think
This one moment together is the start of a long line
In more wonderful memories, that you are
And forever will be my one and only
