A Peek at the Week
Reading:
We will continue our Animal Unit in
Open Court. We will read: Mice,
Spiders, and Hermit Crab. We will
discuss the letters c, k, r, and u. We
will review the short vowel sounds of
a, i and o.
Language Arts/Writing:
We will introduce and focus on
antonyms.
Math:
We will continue working on addition
this week. We will also discuss nickels
and pennies.
Science:
We will continue to learn about using
our 5 senses.
Box tops for Education!
We are now collecting box tops for education to
help fund our learning at our new school.
Please remember to save your box tops and
send them in with your child as soon as
possible. Every little bit helps!

REMINDERS
 Please be sure to send a note in the
communication folder if you have a change in
transportation or call my extension and leave a
message. 9/29/10 is a noon dismissal.
 Please place all money in an envelope with your
child’s name on the outside and then place it in
the Return to School section of the
communication folder.
 I do not check backpacks and will likely not
receive an important note, etc. if it is not
included in your child’s folder.
