A Peek at the Week Dates to Remember

Reading/Phonics: We will introduce the November 9- Veteran’s Day
sounds and spellings for /y/,/s/ and long /a/ Celebration 8:30am-9:30am
spelled a_e. We will read about Fire fighters November 11- Chick-fil-A Night
and discuss main idea/details. 5pm-8pm
The High Frequency Words for the week are: November 15-19- American
into, good, from, play, see Education Week/Fall Book Fair
Language Arts/Writing: We will begin November 16- Donuts for Dads
learning about compound words and continue November 16- Destini’s 7th
to review punctuation. Birthday
Math: This week we will continue to work on November 18- Family Night at the
addition and subtraction stories with mixed Book Fair 4pm-6:30pm
unknowns. November 24-26- Thanksgiving
Social Studies: This week, we will focus on Break
Celebrating U.S. Holidays such as, July 4th,
Memorial Day, and Veteran's Day. We will Homework
also learn how we choose our country's • Read with your child
leaders. each night for 20 minutes and
add it to the Book It! chart.

RAZ-Kids! homework package and turn
