0910 Cooke Awarded Prestigious Fellowship
The British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES) has awarded
Leeds Metropolitan University’s Professor Carlton Cooke with its highest
accolade at a recent annual conference.
Carlton’s recognition by the national professional body has seen him become
one of 16 new fellows of the organisation, an achievement that is only offered
to those who denote passion and commitment along with a willingness to act
as an ambassador and leader in the Sport Science world.
The purpose of the fellowships, which have been awarded since 1993 by
BASES, is to recognise esteemed professional achievement, skills,
knowledge and services to the industry, an honour to which members are all
motivated to aspire.
