    DEVELOPING YOUR SPEAKING SKILLS

    WHAT YOU DID

    Did you compare people/things? Did you describe anything? Did you talk about you? Did you
    tell a story? Did you share information? Did you request anything? ....

    Did you manage to say what you wanted? Did you do everything you wanted to do?

    HOW YOU DID IT

    Did you understand the others? If not, why? Did you ask them to help?

    Did you know how to pronounce words? Did the others understand you?

    Did you know enough words and phrases? If you didn’t know them, did you use other words
    and expressions to say what you wanted to say?

    Did you know enough grammar to say what you wanted to say? eg. Could you speak about
    the present, the past and the future? Could you ask questions without difficulty?
    Did the structures you used interrupt communication?

    Did you manage to mix languages?


    Hint: If you don’t know exactly how to say something, try to say it another way.

    YOUR CONCLUSIONS

    Did this give you the chance to show how good you are?
    Is there anything you need to improve?
    How did you feel while doing it? Was it difficult or easy? What/How can you do better?
