Questionnaire results

Q1+2
The first questions we asked was gender then
age. The questionnaires were randomly given
out to 10 different people. The results were
more girls than boys and more were aged 17
than 18. Although this will limit our findings; it
will still help us as we predicted that our
target audience is gong to be teenage females.
 Q3
• The first question asked was what genre of film did people prefer. To answer the question
they had to chose their top 3 genres with 1 being their preferred genre

as well so that we could
edit our ideas to suit the
target

From theses findings

we can see that a
majority of people
prefer comedy and so
we can change our
ideas to make the short
film more comedy
based as well as out
main idea.

• This question involved the person answering the questionnaire to chose a favourite
film out of a list of 12. these were a mix of romantic and Romcom films. We had
originally chosen to go a long with this type of genre so we were using these next
few answers to edit our ideas to suit the target audience.

The film that most of the people chose was

a Romcom called “She’s The Man”. The
other 4 each got one vote and then 2 other
people said that they didn't know any of
the films.

The 2 people that said that they didn't know

any of the films was also the 2 boys that were
given the questionnaire. So our short film
would be best suited to girls rather than boys.

• The last 2 questions that were asked was why they liked the certain film they chose in
the previous section and then what their favourite scene was and why. A lot of the
answers were very similar but some stood out such as...

From these answers we can make a few changes to our short film idea
also. For instance we can make the idea more realistic and make the
storyline easy to follow.
