Talari Lahari was born in 2008 to Manemma who was married at 13 and gave birth at 14. She did not know much about childcare or proper nutrition. In 2008, the non-profit Adarsh Community Development Trust conducted a program called PD Hearth to educate families on nutrition, hygiene, and child growth. They taught Manemma about providing balanced, low-cost meals to help her daughter develop properly. Through monthly follow ups, Manemma learned to feed her child nutritious foods. As a result, both mother and child are now healthy, and their family is grateful to the program for this education.
