When a large number of employees working
together in an enterprise, grievances are but natural to arise because all of them cannot feel full satisfaction in all respect. There can be no industrial enterprise, howsoever organized and managed in which all the employee may function smoothly at all times without any problem. Factors of grievance handling procedure-:
1. Process of grievance handling should be
simple. 2. The grievance must be settle at the earliest. 3. Size of grievance handling committee should be small. 4. It should be amended time to time according to the needs and requirements. Importance of grievance handling procedure
1.Method of binging out frustration.
2.Upward communication system in the enterprise. 3.Effective control. 4.Increase in the morale. 5.Improvement in policies, programmers and strategies. Principles of grievance handling procedures-: Principle of interviewing-:the very first procedure is that the managers should be interview the employees in order to collect the facts with regards to the grievances of employees. Attitude of management towards employees :The attitude of the management towards the employees should be encouraging so that the feelings of faith and trust may b developed among employees. Responsibility of management-:settlement of problems of employees in an enterprise is primarily a responsibility of the management of the enterprise. The employees should feel that the management would do all the best for the settlement of their problems. Long run principle-: the management should consider long run interest of the enterprise while entering into an agreement with the workers for the settlements of their problems.
