• PMBOK(Project Management Body of Knowledge) – set standardized practices among departments within the organization and across other organizations. – The methods documented within the project management community can assist those who are uncertain of how to undertake risk management. • There are three PMBOK processes for project quality management. – QUALITY PLANNING involves ensuring that the proper project management principles have been applied. – QUALITY ASSURANCE involves the performance of quality assurance tests. – QUALITY CONTROL that is distinct from quality assurance • Project Quality Management shows everyone exactly what is expected of them, whether they are part of the team, customer, or even they are part of the management. • It helps the project meet the standard minimum requirements but is not limited to meeting it. It opens the door to give space on the wide possibilities and extents of improvement. • The project quality management can identify and improve the inconsistencies and gaps to positively impact both project timeliness and software quality.
