Vivekananda on MEDITATION

“ MEDITATION is the only thing

which takes you nearer to REALITY ”
Vivekananda on SILENCE

“ Do not spend
your energy in talking,
but meditate in silence and
become a dynamo of
SPIRITUALITY ”
“The greatest help to spiritual life is
MEDITATION”
“ In meditation, we divest
ourselves of all material

conditions and feel our

DIVINE nature.
We do not depend upon any
external help in meditation. ”
“The goal of mankind is
KNOWLEDGE”
“ Knowledge can only
be got in one way,
the way of experience through
MEDITATION and
AWARENESS in life;
there is no other way
to know. ”
“You create your own Reality”
We are what our thoughts
have made us. So take
care about what you think.

When an idea exclusively

occupies the mind, it is
transformed into an actual
physical or mental state.
Cultivate your
mind through
MEDITATION
Process of Meditation
• Sit comfortably
• Clasp your hands
• Cross your legs/feet
• Close your eyes
• Observe your easy, natural, soft, tender
BREATH
• No chanting …
• No visualization …
• No holding of breath …
• If any thoughts wander, just bring your
focus back to the breath
Soul - experience

“ You have to grow from inside out.

No one can teach you.
No one can make you Spiritual.
There is no other teacher but
your own Soul. ”

Listen to the soul during MEDITATION

“ Kingdom of god is within us ”
“The moment I have realized
God sitting in the temple of
every human body, the
moment I stand in reverence
before every human being and
see God in him - that moment
I am free from bondage,
everything that binds
vanishes, and I am free.”
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa
“That knowledge which purifies the
mind and heart alone is true
knowledge, all else is only a negation
of knowledge. “

MEDITATION alone purifies

the mind and heart.
Do an INNER journey
to find the TRUE Knowledge
that can be found within.

Few more quotes from
RamaKrishna Paramahamsa
• “As one thinks, so does one become”
(You create your own reality)
• “As long as I live, so long do I learn”
(Learn from every moment and every one)
• “Do yourself what you wish others to do”
• “A jar kept in water is full of water inside and outside.
Thus the soul immersed in God sees the all-pervading
Spirit within and without.”
(Such an experience can be obtained only through
MEDITATION)
Sarada Devi
“ Whatever you yearn for, that you will get ”
“ The purpose of one's life is fulfilled only when one is
able to give joy to another. "
“ Do not look for faults in others, or your own eyes will
become faulty ”
“ The aim of life is to realize God and remain immersed in
contemplation of Him. ”
Self-Realization / God-Realization is possible only
