In the beautiful community hall, 7 leaders of the Bundarra community sheltered from the rain and chill winter

night. Provided

with a remarkable, home cooked supper, they discussed the issues and ideas needed to create a sustainable and healthy town

and surrounding area. Dialogue, captured in a special mapping process, shows how desired outcomes will be measured and

what first-steps are needed.

The Bundarra community and surrounding farmers has survived a 10 year drought and is ready to get going again. Their plan

for regenerating and building a strong, healthy, resilient and sustainable community, water smart agribusiness and new

enterprises are detailed over the page.

The town has a well regarded

School - TVET community learning centre


with committed teachers and a supportive 10:1 student ratio.

They are enhancing their nature reserves , the habitat for regent honey
Bundarra is a lively community of 299 and
eaters& platypus; and,

has its own Bundarra Boogey Festival


They have plans to upgrade their town main street.

Bundarra community are putting ideas into action to

create a stronger, healthier, resilient and sustainable

place which is attractive to young people, tourists, new

and old businesses and instil a will to ‘keep going’ for all

members of the community.
