Newly developed bi-laws were passed out for inspection; vote for acceptance will take place
during the November meeting.
In a vote of9 to 4, the Tip of Texas Tea Party's name was changed to Brownsville Tea Party.
Dues were discussed and in a 13 to 4 vote; it was decided that each member would pay
$20.00/year membership dues.
In another vote, all but two wanted to endorse Blake Farenthal during this election period.
Meeting time of the new Brownsville Tea Party was set for the first Saturday of each month at
the Workout in Brownsville at 9:30 am.
The next step in the plan to elect conservatives is to "get the vote out". Members were asked to
work one on one to get people to the polls. Poll watching was encouraged. It was decided that
the "Fabulous Seven" would go out to the early voting areas.
Long Term Goals were set to be discussed at the November 6, 2010 meeting.
