Some common Allergies
• Animal dander
• Bee stings or stings from other insects (spiders snakes ect.)
• Foods, especially nuts, fish, and shellfish
• Insect bites
• Medications
• Plants
• Pollens
Symptoms
• Hives (especially over the neck and face)
• Itching
• Nasal congestion
• Rashes
• Watery, red eyes
• Cramps or pain in the abdomen
• Chest discomfort or tightness
• Diarrhea
• Difficulty breathing
• Difficulty swallowing
• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Fear or feeling of apprehension or anxiety
• Flushing or redness of the face
• Nausea and vomiting
• Swelling of the face, eyes, or tongue
• Weakness
• Wheezing
• Unconsciousness
Over reaction
• In your body foreign invaders all get same
treatment
• Allergies is a case of hypersensitivity to an
allergen
• An allergen can be anything

Why our body fights them?
• Antibodies are highly specialized
• Immunoglobulin E (IgE)
• Each type is specialized
• Located all over body
• These receptor cells are called mast cells.
• Other IgE are in the blood stream. They
are called basophils.
The problem
• The body is confused
• the igE cells do not mature fast the first
time
• However the secound time they remember
and attack
