an Assistant County Attorney. After reading the job description, I am confident that my skills

For the past three years, while attending law school at the University of Minnesota, I have been
employed at Ascheman and Smith, LLC as a Legal Assistant. Although this is a criminal defense
firm, I have had great learning experiences that I feel have prepared me to branch out into a
different aspect of law. My time at this law firm has given me opportunities to gain experience
in criminal procedures, juvenile court proceedings and trial experience. It also helped me to
develop great courtroom strategies. Although my experience is working with the defense side,
my passion is to be on the prosecution side. I would love to bring a fresh perspective to your
prosecution team and help you serve your community.

As a lifelong Minnesotan, I would like to be able to protect our communities and help serve
justice when a wrong is committed against a person or business in this great state. I am a hard
