Educational purpose: This interactive puzzle will provide Spring Branch ISD teachers with a
review of important terminology covered in the first half of the Free Tools for Teachers
Learning objectives: Without using notes or neighbors, Spring Branch ISD teachers will
complete the crossword puzzle called Integrating Technology for Educators in less than thirty
Intended audience: This interactive activity was designed for all Spring Branch ISD teachers
who are taking the Moodle course Free Tools for Educators offered by Brandy Milson.
Intended duration: Spring Branch ISD teachers should use no more than Fifteen to thirty
The number of items included in the puzzle: This puzzle was created using thirty-nine
technology terms that all teachers should know when completing the first half of the Free Tools
Learning methodology: This instructional unit will utilize Cognitive Information Processing
theory. The goal of the activity is to increase information retention and increase understanding
Moodle placement: This activity will be placed in the October 13th-19th section entitled
Educational Gaming section of the Moodle course Free Tools for Educators. It will be used as a
mid-workshop review to ensure students understand material covered before moving on to the
