Lesson plan Model

Date: November 16th Level: 5º grade. Primary School.

Skill: Grammar, Lexical.

Expected Outcomes: Students show comprehension on the use of countable and uncountable
nouns and they learn how to ask for quantities
Resources: Text Book, Notebook and Data.

Time Comments

Introduction: 15 min -Students check the contents of the previous class in order
to reinforce the information learnt.

Core of the class 15 min -Students are taught the difference between Countable and
Pre-stage: Uncountable nouns, through a Power Point Presentation in
which they see definitions and examples.

While-stage: 20 min -Students learn the use of quantifiers (many, much, few
and little) for each noun. They watch and copy the
examples in the Power Point, and pronounce the sentences.

Post-stage: 15 min -Students learn to ask questions using How many/much.


They see the differences through examples.

Closing: 15 min -Students practice the contents already learnt by doing


exercises.
