• It is used mainly in liquids and
grains. Examples: • I want some water..! I have some sugar. ANY • We use ANY in negative sentences to express that there is nothing.
• We use ANY in interrogative
sentences to ask if there is a quantity of something. Examples: • There isn’t any milk in the bottle. There isn’t any egg in the nest. Do you have any crisps for me? A / AN
