The Laguna College does its best to impart and promote knowledge (Scientia) of arts and
sciences, to instill love of country (Patria), and to protect the people’s liberty (Libertas).

It spares no effort in cultivating the many good Filipino values of charity, justice, truth,
honesty, decency and compassion.

It goes to great length to hire the best teachers available, to buy the best equipment and to
provide the best facilities so that in the end it can turn out graduates who are honest, decent and
responsible citizens fully dedicated to the creation of a just, humane, and caring society that fears
God, protects the environment, and serves the cause of the country and the world.

The Mission of the Laguna College Nursing

In support to the institution’s mission, the Laguna College Nursing Department shall
teach health promotion, conservation and restoration of wellness; shall exhibit responsibility for
personal development and professional accountability for personal accountability, and shall
contribute to the solution of problems that affect the health care needs of the community, the
region, the country and the world.

Objective of the Laguna College Nursing

The Laguna College Nursing Department aims to produce quality graduates who can
provide efficient and effective nursing care in diverse settings; utilize the nursing process in
providing competent health care to individuals; integrate concepts and principles of Nursing and
the biopsychosocial sciences in the preparation of individualized care plan, and compete
globally.
