Expected Outcomes:
- Students learn the affirmative and negative forms of the verb to be.
- Students also check vocabulary about food, drinks and restaurants.
Resources: Student´s book, whiteboard.

Short review on last class

Core of the class 15 min The teacher describes The use of affirmative and negative
Pre-stage statements of simple present by giving examples of simple

Students are given a work in which they have to create a


restaurant and describe it. They also have to describe
While-stage 25 min appetizers and main courses.
Students have to cook in their homes and bring it to the
classroom (evaluated activity) and also give some
classmates and to the teacher a sample of the dish.

Post-stage 15 min Students complete exercises to practice the present simple


forms. They have to correct sentences and complete
dialogs with the correct use of the verbs.

Closing 15 min Short review on simple present statements (affirmative and


negative). Students give oral examples to the teacher.
