Description:

Barclaycard is a global credit provider (credit cards and loans) owned by Barclays plc in the UK. The
Barclaycard was the first credit card introduced in the UK, coming into service in 1966. Barclaycard later
became part of the VISA network. Nowadays, Barclays offers both Master Card and VISA versions.
Darwin is a part of the Barclaycard Business. Its activities include; Merchant Accounting, Application
Review and Merchant Investigation, Customer Services & Recoveries, Customer Services Transaction Data
maintenance, Merchant Settlement, Charging and Statements. These activities are sub-systems themselves
within the Darwin System.

Responsibilities:

 Analysis and amendments to the low-level design in accordance with the requests
 Amendments to the existing programs in accordance with the requests
 Preparation of test data for testing
 Testing of programs i.e., Unit testing.
