Natwest Bank - Introduction

 Natwest Bank is established in 1968 by the merger of three bank:


the District Bank, the National Provincial Bank, and the Westminster
Bank.

 National Westminster Bank Plc, commonly known as NatWest,


has been part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc since 2000 for
£21 billion deal that was the largest take-over in British banking
history.

 The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) is ranked as the second


largest bank in the world by assets.

 NatWest has a large network of 3,600 branches and 3,400 cash


machines across Great Britain, 250,000 staff members and offers 24-
hour Action line telephone and online banking services.

 At present it has more than 7.5 million personal customers and


850,000 small business accounts.
