Describing needs of different

types of customers in travel &
tourism?

1. Young people-
 Music – They would want music they are on a long way travel.
They will also need music and dancing and etc. in the tourist resorts.

 Entertainment- They would need entertainment to keep them lively while there
travelling.
They would even want entertainment when they are at there tourist resort.

 Magazines- The reason why they would want magazines is because they might
get tired listening to there music so they need a change on there long travel.
They need magazines at there tourist resorts as well for during the day or night.

2. Disabled people-

 Better facilities- They would need disabled toilets and foot rest and some extra
pillows wider seats travelling a long way.
 At tourist resorts they will need the in an out access and lifts outside there room
as well as room service and ramps to help disabled people.

3. Children-
 They will need colouring books and word search’s and cartoons to help pass time
in a long way travel.
 They will also need radio and internet access if possible in and reps around there
resorts to take them to activities for e.g. mountain biking, golf, and badminton in
doors in tourist resorts.

4. Families-
 They will need family entertainment for e.g. family
comedy dramas and movies while they are travelling.
 When they are at tourist resorts they will also need
landline phones to call to international and activities in an
out the resorts.

5. Pensioners-
 Pensioners will need a quit atmosphere to rest in piece while they are travelling.
 They will also need good service and some good adjustable activities in tourist
resorts.

6. Business people-

 They will need to be checked in quicker than the other people, Internet
access while they are travelling long way and wider seats to be
comfortable.
 At the tourist resorts they should have better facilities if you pay for
business class tickets and they should have special offers.
