Dear Mrs. Trip,
I have know Tempel Farms for seven to eight years now. My first experience was one of
amazement which fuelled my desire to learn about dressage. I am very impressed with the recent
changes in management that has given new life to Tempel. The future of the farm as leaders in
the dressage community of the United States and the Lippizan breed seems assured.
Tempel Lippizans has seen my progress from a kid with a pony and a passion for dressage with
little education into an accomplished professional. In fact Tempel has provided the venue for
much of my education in dressage by hosting my mentor Conrad Schumacher. He is the base for
all of my training methods. This makes my work highly compatible with your program.
I also learned a great deal during my time as a working student at Tempel Farm. This is when I
decided that becoming a trainer was what I wanted to do with my life. Because of my time at
Tempel I am already familiar with the methods and the goals of the farm. I have already
partnered successfully with you on several occasions to market your horses with my training.
While at college I continued to train on a limited basis so as to always continue to improve.
During this time I learned a great deal about the business side of horse farms and this is
additional information I can bring to the table. I also gained knowledge in nutrition,
reproduction and management of the equine.
