What is Gene?

Properties:
• Each individual has two copies of each gene, inherited one from each
parent.
• Self propagating.
• Stability.

Location:
• Present on gene string (chromosome).
• In linear order arrangement.
• Each gene has permanent locus on gene string (chromosome).
