 Introduction:
Students should equip themselves
with all the necessary qualifications
in order to get jobs. The colleges play
an important role in equipping the
students with knowledge, skills and
tools needed to make them
competitive in a globalized economic
environment.
 Objective:
The main objective of this
paper is to bring about an
improvement in student’s
performance which is essential
for the successful placement of
the students in various jobs as
soon as they complete their
under graduation.
 Importance of Commerce
Education:
•To prepare students for executive and non
executive positions.
•To promote entrepreneurial skills for self
employment
•To train the students for Professionalism,
Specialization, Creativity and Innovation in
economic and business activities.
•To develop skills in teaching and research
in Commerce.

Suggestions to the Department:
•Campus interview should be held every year
•There should be practical application of what is being
thought
•Spoken English classes should be conducted to improve
the fluency.
•Computer courses related to commerce should be
thought.
•Out door projects with banks, industries, etc should be
encouraged.
•Extra books for reference should be made available in
the library.
•Library class, at least once in a week.
 Suggestions to the Students:
•Use the opportunities given to you in
the college properly.
•Active participation helps to improve
yourself
•Take some extra efforts to learn new
things.
•Try to be creative and confident
 Conclusion:
This study examines and reveals the level of
satisfaction of the students of commerce
department. It also highlights the necessary
measures that need to be taken by the
department for the improvement of the
student’s capacity and talents to help them to
face the competitive world in a successful
manner.
