Font 1
• THE KOOKS - this is the first font that we
are looking into. It is called Arial Bold, and it is
very simple, it is in bold so it is easy to read.
• One band that uses this font in indie is ‘the
kooks’. So we have looked at this and going
to compare it to other fonts to see which is
the best.

Font 2
• Arctic monkeys - this is another possible font that
we could use. This font is called Lucida calligraphy
and is very attractive as the words are more fancy
than the 1st font, it may be a bit difficult to read 1st
time, but it looks more revealing at the same time. A
band which uses this font is ‘Arctic Monkeys’, and as
you can see by the below image it is highlighted in
red making it more attractive to the audience

Font 3
• The Fratellis - this is another possible font that
we could use. The band that uses this type of font are
‘ the fratellis’. As you can see this font is fairly simple
and easy to read, but in way it stands out because of
the way the letters are represented.

Font 4
• Air Traffic - once again this is another very simple
font which is easy to read. ‘air traffic’ is the band that
uses this font the most. This font fits into the
background well with the characters beside them.
This will be suitable for our video as well as it is in
black and white and would fit in well to our theme of
indie genre well.

Possible Fonts to use and
why?
• Rob David:My Story - I think this font is very
good, as it is easy to read as well as attractive at the
same time. This would fit in well with our genre as it
doesn’t seam to fancy and the words are well
presented to fit with our theme in the skate park. Ext.
• Rob David:My story - this is another possible font that
we could use, but I don’t think this is well suitable for
our genre even though the it is simple and easy to
read, I believe the font above is better as it is bold
and this goes in well with our video and theme.
