Meaning of Marketing
 Marketing can be defined as a societal process through which an
individual obtain, what they need and wants through creating, offering
and exchanging the goods and survices that have value to each other.

The Production Concept
 The production concept is the management philosophy, which believes
and operates with the guiding force that the consume will prefer those
products which are conveniently available in adequate quantity
affordable. This concept is based on the belief that the consumer
needs can satisfied with the reasonable quality and reasonable priced
product.
The Product Concept
 According to product concept consumers generally prefer those
product in the market which offer best in terms of quality and price.
 The product concept seeks to achieve the result via product
excellence-improved products, new products and ideally designed an
engineered products. It also places the emphasis on quality
assurance.
The Selling Concept
 According to selling concept consumer generally do not buy products
that are not essential or do not buy in sufficient quantity unless the
organization itself puts effort to create awareness and interest of the
consumer in its products. The selling concept gives sufficient
importance to selling efforts and technique used in selling.
The Marketing Concept

 The marketing concept focuses on the needs an wants of the


customers of the target markets and the organization would need to
find products and services that will proved to be useful solution to
solve the requirement of such needs and wants deriving the
satisfaction of the customer.
