NIST Year 6 - How we organise ourselves

Summative and Ongoing Assessment 2010 Name:

Central Idea:
Being organised empowers us to achieve.
An inquiry into:
 The organisation of self and groups.
 Organisational tools, attitudes and actions that determine success.
 The relationship between organisation and achievement.

Use a red arrow to mark your progress along the GRR

during the unit (Sept 29 - Oct 8 2010).
Use other coloured arrows to show your progress
throughout the rest of the year.

Between September 29 - October 8 2010 my ability to organize myself has improved because
now I don’t forget things and have a daily routine .

Function: Thinking about the central idea for this unit, I now understand that organization is im-
portant if I want to be a great swimmer and a lawyer because I can’t forget my practice times
and utensils.

Action: The goal I set myself was feeding my pet tortoises. I used to never do it but now I feed
my tortoises all the time (well most of the time).

Reflection: I achieved this goal because I do it every day in the morning but I sometimes forget
but it is hard to get sometimes. Luckily my maids do it if I forget.

Responsibility/Action: My follow-up to this goal will be that I continue this goal and set another
goal that is to never forget to bring my stuff - swimming suit, pencils etc. I have to bring them so
I don’t miss out in classes by not having what I need.
