    Why Insurance Almost each one of us has bought or plans to buy life insurance. The usual process is contact an insurance agent who helps you estimate the policy value and goes ahead and buys the policy on your behalf. For instance your wife can pay premium for your policy and claim the tax benefit. Breaking up for life policy helps in this case too. If the premium paid on a consolidated policy is higher than the amount of rebate you need, you can break the policy to claim the entire tax rebate. This can be done by another tax paying family member paying the premium for one policy and claiming the rebate.     Plan Highlights

    This policy provides pension payments at a flat rate of interest from the time the premium is effectively paid
    and these payments continue for as long as the annuitant lives.
    This policy is designed for elderly individuals who need to invest their funds in a manner that it provides them
    with sound benefits and returns, and also compensates their dependants in event of their demise.
    Survival Benefits:
    Monthly pensions payments calculated at 12 percent of the sum insured by the annuitant. The purchaser also
    can avail of redeeming 30 percent of the Guaranteed Insurance Sum (GIS) after seven years due to which his
    pension payments are granted at a slightly lower rate.
    Death Benefits:
    The nominees or beneficiaries of the annuitant will be compensated with the Guaranteed Insurance Sum
    (GIS) plus a Final Terminal Bonus. This bonus is based on the surplus generated or the differential amount
    succeeding the period of pension payment.
