Shortfalls of MIS

Since the system is maintained by internal IT


department we have been able to minimize
gaps in the system. Though there are some
gaps which is not affect the main business.
•HRM
– No centralized place or system to put learning
materials
– No online evaluation system
– No knowledge base

• Link between calls is missing. There is
a problem of retaining caller provided
information
• Unable to do online analytical
processing (OLAP) and do data mining.
• User access to the system is not
flexible
• Wrong financial ratios being calculated
in some senarios

• When the system is down for some
period of time, the users would have to
work manually.
• The system is not available for mobile
assessors who visit customers to
assess their claims.
• Need for re-entering data from one
component to another
