How to connect to WIFI-STUDENT

for Windows Vista

1. Click on the Network connection

- click on Network and Sharing Center

2. Network and Sharing Center

- click Manage Wireless Networks

3. Manage Wireless Networks

- click Add

4. Manually connect to a wireless network

- click Manually create a network profile

5. Manually connect to a wireless network

Enter information for the wireless network you want to add

Network name:WIFI-STUDENT
Security type: WPA-Enterprise
Encryption type: TKIP
6. Manually connect to the wireless network

- click Change connection settings

7. WIFI-STUDENT wireless network properties

- click Settings
8. Protected EAP Properties

- UNCHECK validate server certificate

- Click Configure

9. EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties

- UNCHECK Automatically use my Windows logon name and

password
(and domain if any)
10.Manually connect to wireless network

- click on the Additional information is required to connect to WIFI-

STUDENT balloon.

11.Enter Credential
Enter your student id, password and domain.

Eg:
Username: EE123
Password: *******
Logon domain: STUDENT
