Senggigyi PRINCESS OF WEST COAST

Senggigi , namet after princess in local legend, is the main tourist center on Lombok. The
resort area is about 10 km north of Ampenan, and about 20 minutes drive prom island
slaparang airport. Nowhere near a large or as busy as its Bali counterparts, Senggigi is a
great for exploring the rest of the islan. The pace is very laid-back, with activities centered
around the beaches and day trap to place of interest, which are all whitin a few hours drive
from the town. At night dine in the many restaurants catring to all tastes and budgets, listen
to live music all the bars, or dance the night away at the nightclubs.

GILI TRAWANGAN ISLAND
Three ferpec coral islsnd, fringet with whit sands and swaying paim trees,
lay in the sparkling ocean just off the north-west cose of Lombok, For many years gili have
attracted visitors from the around the world for their pristine waters, great diving and
snorkeling opportunities, and laid-back charm.

The gili island , Lombok petedays

Diving facilities abound and there is nice snorklling directly from the shore,
particuraly from east and northes, beaches. The south of the island has some good surf, in
the right condition.

Gili trawangan is the largest island and firthst from the minland, but easily reached in less
then an hour by local boat or 10 minutes by speedboat. This the moust famous of the three
Gilis, with a reputation as “ the party island”. While this reputation refer to the many fun
parties held at differen bars and restaurants on the island, it is a misleading description of
this lovely place.
