    INTRODUCTION

    • Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removal of oils, dirt, skin
    particles, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant
    particles that gradually build up in hair. The goal is to remove the
    unwanted build-up without stripping out so much sebum as to make hair
    unmanageable.
    • Dandruff Shampoo is the shedding of dead skin cells from
    the scalp .Dandruff is sometimes caused by frequent exposure to extreme
    heat and cold causes unusually large amount of flaking which can also be
    accompanied by redness and irritation.
    • Most cases of dandruff can be easily treated with specialized shampoos
    known as Anti Dandruff Shampoos.
    • These contain fungicides such as ketoconazole, zinc
    pyrithine and selenium sulfide .
