ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Post-Graduate
Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma and Diploma courses offered at Centre for Information Science and
Technology (CIST), Manasagangotri, Mysore for the academic year 2010-11.

1) Master of Science in Animation (MS Animation)

2) P.G.Diploma in Animation (PGDA)
3) P.G.Diploma in Publication Design (PGDPD)
4) Diploma in Hardware & Networking (DHN)

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. The Prospectus with Application form may be obtained in the CIST Office, Manasagangotri,
Mysore-570 006, on payment of ` 200/-. The candidates can also get Application form with
prospectus through post, by sending Demand Draft for ` 300/- (` 100/- towards Postal Charges).
Candidates can also download the Application form from the University Website:
http://www.uni-mysore.ac.in or CIST Website: http://www.uomcist.org and submit the same with a
demand draft for ` 200/- (Two Hundred only) as application fee. All Demand Draft should be
drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Mysore, payable at Mysore.

2. For MS in Animation course admission is through Entrance Examination, another Demand Draft
for ` 400/- (Four Hundred Only) favouring “The Finance officer, University of Mysore,
Mysore” payable at Mysore, must be enclosed with the Application form. The Application form
with enclosures and the Demand Draft(s) should reach The Director, CIST, University of Mysore,
on or before 28-9-2010 latest by 5 P.M. Please note that the Demand Draft and Application should
NOT be sent to the Finance officer.

3. Separate application form must be submitted for admission to each course.

4. The filled-in application form along with necessary certificates and copies of marks cards should
be submitted to the The Director, CIST at Manasagangotri, Mysore 570 006 on or before
28-09-2010 (latest by 5.00 P.M.)
