    Dear Parents

    Here are the project instructions for Islamic Studies. The oral presentations will be assessed
    during the week 8th to 12th of January 2011. Marks for these projects contribute towards the
    midyear report card.

    Islamic Studies:

    Prepare an oral presentation for about 3 to 5 minutes about one of the following important
    personalities in Islam:

    • The Prophet Adam


    • Khadijah bint Kkuwaylid
    • The Prophet Ibraaheem

    Choose one of the above important personalities in Islam. You can discuss some of the
    following points:

    • Explain who this person is in Islam and where he/she came from?
    • Why was this person an important personality in Islam?
    • What are some important events that occurred during their life?
    • What lessons can we learn from their life?
    • Why is the person you chose important to you?

    All oral presentations must start with the name of the Personality you chose. Marks will be
    allocated for content, grammar, fluency and overall flow / presentation.
