Acknowledgments

It was an uphill task for me to prepare this dissertation. This would not have been

possible without the supervision and guidance of my supervisor and help of my

colleagues.

It is indeed with great pleasure that I express my thanks and gratitude from the depth of

my heart, for my supervisor Dr. Qamar Tariq and my teacher Dr.Zahid Jadoon. Their

valuable guidance, excellent suggestions and constructive criticism have been of

immense value for the work that has given shape to this dissertation. The cordial

respect I bear for them is beyond words.

I would like to express thanks for sincere guidance of Dr. Qamar Tariq Dr. Fawad; for
